Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are the true heart of our organization, with out the hard work and dedication of all of our volunteers the Settlement would not exist. Becoming a volunteer adds to our organization and supports our mission. We have several opportunities for you to volunteer.

Store Attendant: The store is also our visitor center, so working in the store means you get to greet guests, and help manage the store during open hours.

Tour Guide: Each visitor enjoys an interpretive tour by one of our tour guides. Tour guides and docents are needed during open hours as well as special events.

Special Events: There are many opportunities throughout the year for demonstrators, interpreters, and crafts people of all backgrounds and skills. Call us to share your skills and ideas of how you can help the Settlement fulfill its mission.
